Community Calendar

Bigfoot Community Center -The Bigfoot Community Center is located in Frio County on FM472. It was erected in 1925 as the Bigfoot public school. The local community attended school in this building until the school merged with the neighboring Devine Independent School District. The Bigfoot community center building has been renovated and is currently the home of the Bigfoot Alternative School out of the Jourdanton Independent School District. The Bigfoot community center building is available for rent during the month of July. If you are interested, use the Contact Us page to submit your inquiry.

Standing Events

Commodities - Third Monday of each Month

Community Meetings - Second Tuesday in April, June and August at 7:30 p.m. Bigfoot Community Center on FM 472.

Fire Department - Bigfoot Volunteer Fire Department meets at 7:00 p.m. the first Thursday of each month.

Fire Department Training - Bigfoot Volunteer Fire Department meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month.

Longview Cemetery Clean up Days - First Saturday in October and Last Saturday in April.

Museum - Open second Saturday morning of each Month located at 13788 FM 472.
